Abstract

This article aims at analysing some events connected to Hannibal’s life after the battle of Zama. The author draws attention on the relatively large amount of details e know about this period of the Carthaginian's life, and examines cautiously these episodes. Finally, she attempts to illustrate their significance from a biographical and historiographical point of view.
