Abstract

Notabilia varia in the Fasti of Alba Fucens

The fragments of painted plaster discovered amidst the ruins of Alba Fucens (Massa d’Albe) preserve one of the few surviving fasti consulares to rival the level of detail contained in the fasti Capitolini. This paper sets out new read- ings for the fragments of the fasti Albenses pertaining to the years 48 to 34 B.C. and discusses some of the more novel and remarkable contents of Plaque 19.
